Tooth Gem

Tooth gems are a semi-permanent procedure that apply a Swarovski Crystal to the tooth. This is a painless and "drill-free" procedure. The gem if applied to a healthy tooth, with healthy enamel can last from 6-12 months.  

To adhere the gem to the tooth a etching gel is placed on the tooth's surface, and by doing so is roughening the enamel in preparation for the bonding solution.  

Before applying the gem a bonder is placed over the tooth and a dental grade adhesive is then placed to secure the gem in place. 

Once the gem is in the desired position a curing lamp is applied to the tooth to cure the adhesive and secure the gem in place.
